STARS HOLLOW, RI.

To celebrate the fact that Gilmore Girls is 1) the best; 2) became available on Netflix October 1; 3) vaguely feminist (I have not read through this yet but surely there is something here) and; 4) loved equally by my mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and me (the amount is a lot), one morning a few weeks back we set out to find a small New England town with a Stars Hollow vibe and a diner to get us in a Luke’s state of mind. I don’t think we could have done it better, really. We passed by a freeway sign that hoped to direct us towards New Haven, we drove through the small town of Little Compton, RI, and ordered a huge plate of chili cheese fries and some coffee. Yes, this is exactly the level of fanaticism with which I prefer to live my life.
